Most students are ready to begin lessons around age 7. At this age, children typically have the hand strength, coordination, and focus needed to start learning guitar.
Will playing guitar hurt my fingers?
When first starting out, it's normal for your fingertips to feel a little sensitive. Over time, your fingers will develop calluses so you don't notice it.
