Alto saxophone is generally the best choice for beginners. Other saxophones vary in size and weight, which makes them more challenging to start with.
What is the best age to start playing the saxophone?
Many students are ready to begin around the ages of 7 to 10.
Do I need anything else to learn how to play the saxophone?
In addition to your saxophone, you will need reeds, a music stand, cork grease, and a neck strap.
